Luis González Serrano is a writer who arrived in Australia from El Salvador as a refugee in 1988. For more than 10 years, he was an active member of Melbourne's poetry community by performing at readings, editing a poetry journal (Salt-lick New Poetry), running the Overload poetry festival and publishing a book (Cities with Moveable Parts, 2005).
