Jasmin is a proud Australian–Salvadorian woman, born in Melbourne. The daughter of Salvadorian refugees who arrived under the Australian Humanitarian Program in the 1980s, she carries the legacy of parents who survived horrific torture from the civil war and transformed their pain into lifelong community service. Jasmin founded Florecemos Together in 2024, a community-led organisation that celebrates Salvadoran culture, intergenerational healing, and collective empowerment.
